CEO of MPL Muhhamad Junaid have said that if the president loses the elections next year the people will be as sad as when the Maldives was hit with the tsunami in 2004.
Speaking at a ceremony held at MPL today Junaid said that the President has succeeded in developing and stimulating the economy of Maldives. He said that the increased job opportunities and how they are benefiting the society should be noted.
Junaid said that since he became the CEO of MPL more than 700 jobs have been created and all these jobs are filled by Maldivian youths. " In the last 9 months 700 people have been employed. Those include 100 women as well" said Junaid.
Junaid said that the work of the jetty in Thilafushi will begin soon as the concrete work has now been finished. He said that it will create 200 new jobs as well.
"Isn't this what the people want? They wants jobs or means to get an income " said Junaid
Junaid said that all of this is a success due to the high priority given by president Yameen. He said that the Presidents ent prioritizes extremely on youth empowerment by creating jobs. He said that for all these reasons president Yameen should be reelected in 2018.
