State Minister at Health Ministry Hussein Rasheed has resigned from all his posts in the government.
He has resigned as a member of NDA and also the Vice Chairman of the National Fund on Drug Control.
In his letter of resignation to the President, he stated that he resigned because of the delays in implementing the Supreme Court order.
Many officials of the government has resigned after the Supreme Court verdict. Those include the SG of the Parliament, Undersecretary at the President’s Office Fayyaz Shathir, in charge of Maafushi Jail Salman rasheed and Senior Policy Executive of Education Ministry Dr.Ahmed Riyaz.
