Surbana Jurong Consultants Private Limited of Singapore, which was contracted with developing the master plan for Ihaven project has said that they will complete the plan within 15 weeks.
Speaking at the ceremony held to sign the contract, the company’s CEO Dr.Maheshvaran said that, their company is known for completing projects on a timely manner. He further said that their highest priority is making sure that their clients get the most benefit out of the project.
Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed said that even before the government did studies on the project and they found out that the project can be successful.
He requested the company contracted with the work to make sure that the master plan is made in such a way that it is interesting for investors.
“The land reclaimed for Ihaven project will be equal to 10% of the land area of Singapore. So, the master plan will be to make a Singapore of that size there” said Mohamed Saeed.
He further said that Ihaven project is connected to the dreams of the Maldivian people and the government wants to make sure that the project is beneficial to the people in every way.
Ihaven master plan will be completed within 15 weeks
