The largest aircraft of the Indian Air Force has reached Maldives carrying 30 tonnes of fresh water. The same aircraft also brought 56 tonnes of fresh water last night.
Indian High Commission noted that the C- 17 aircraft which landed at 3:50 is the largest cargo carrier in the air force.
Indian High Commission stated that the government of India is giving special priority to transport fresh water to Maldives because of the age-old close relationship between the two countries.
