Technology adoption project “Technology for the Future of Next Gen” has been successfully held since 15th June 2011 & inaugurated by the then President of Maldives with an objective to train Teachers in IT-enabled teaching skills and Youth in IT and vocational education.
“The program is the biggest ever IT skills training program conducted in the Maldives covering 3 out of every 4 Maldivian teachers (total 3053) and almost 2500 youngsters,” he said.
The project has translated into a huge success story for the Government Maldives as well as numerous individual success stories for the Maldivian Teachers, Youth, Schools and Communities across 42 Islands covering 19 Atolls.
More than 5553 people have been trained in IT by India
