Hulhuhenveiru MP “Reeko” Moosa Manik has said that the leader of the Jumhooree Party and Maamigili MP Gasim Ibrahim is an inspiring leader.
Speaking at yesterday’s sitting of the Peoples’ Majlis, Moosa Manik stated that Gasim holds a lot of weight in Maldives politics and the political balance always is weighty on the side taken by Gasim Ibrahim.
Moosa Manik said that since he believes that Gasim Ibrahim is a kingmaker, he met Gasim and pleaded Gasim to support MDP in the second and third round of the presidential election of 2013.
In addition to this he said that Gasim Ibrahim is also a close friend and he has helped him a lot in his political life and also in his business.
Moosa Manik raised concern regarding Gasim Ibrahim not supporting MDP in the 2008 election.
