Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has handed over a land in Hulhumale' for the construction of a petrol shed.
Managing Director of HDC, Suhail Ahmed signed on behalf of the company during a ceremony held at the office of HDC on Sunday. Managing Director of Ahmed Azim signed on behalf of STO.
HDC has handed over the land which is westwards to the Hulhumale' Ferry Terminal.
Azim also revealed that the petrol shed would be complete, and operational within eight months.
During the ceremony, Suhail stated that the decision was made since there is only one petrol shed in the island, which has been much of a burden to the residents.
