State Trading Organisation (STO) on Sunday opened three new pharmacies in three different islands, under their initiative to establish a pharmacy in every inhabited island of the Maldives.
Dhigurahdhigaru, Veymandoo and Fulidhoo are the three islands in which the new pharmacies had been opened.
STO revealed that the pharmacies are currently giving out services under the National Health Scheme "Aasandha". With the three new pharmacies, the total of STO pharmacies is now 49.
The company had also revealed that their project would complete during the coming year.
