Ministry of Health has announced that specialist doctors have commenced consulting in the atolls.
Doctor Ibrahim Shiham, the nephrologist working under the ministry’s “outreach” program will is now consulting in Addu City. He will be working till today in Addu City.
43 patients have so far now consulted him. Health Ministry stated that up until yesterday 7 people made appointments.
Health Ministry stated that Dr. Shiham will be also consulting in Haa Dhaal Kulhudhufushi from December.
Pulmonogist, Dr. Moosa Hussein will be consulting in Thinadhoo Dr. Abdussamad Memorial Hospital from December 19 to December 26.
