The Quran copy especially for Maldives called “Mushaf Maldives” by the Center for Quran has received 18 donations for its publication.
The donations were granted from some government affiliated companies and private companies. They announced this yesterday.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs stated that Ayadi Takaful, Amana Global, Alia Investment, Bandos Island Resort, Dhiraagu, Ooreedoo, Litus Maldives, Housing Development Corporation, Housing Development Finance Corporation, Maldives Islamic Bank, Maldives Center for Development Research, MTCC, Maldives Hajj Corporation Ltd, RKL, Sonee, STO, Sun Foundation are among those who donated for the project.
This was announced at a special ceremony held at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs yesterday. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Islamic Affiars, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed said that the ministry will later announce the total received from their donation.
Dr. Shaheem thanked the parties for their generous donations for this very important project.
