Maldives Police Service has confiscated some special documents from the Male’ City Council.
Sub inspector of police, Mohamed Hushamat told the press and a press conference that the documents were confiscated at the report of some staffs planning to misuse them.
He said that the documents were confiscated last night by entering the city council with a court warrant.
Hushamat, however did not reveal what the documents were about and for what it was reported to be planned for. He said that more details on the case cannot be revealed as the investigation is on going.
