Jumhooree Party Leader and Maamigili MP, Gasim Ibrahim has urges the authorities to implement the population relocation policy.
Speaking at the Peoples’ Majlis, Gasim said that even the finance minister acknowledged the importance of population relocations.
“I congratulate him. I congratulate him for having some a thought. We have always reiterated on the importance of it. Our hope is that the government of President Yameen will establish this.” He said.
Gasim Ibrahim said that he requests the President to look into this matter and give importance to implement it.
Gasim also urged the authorities to continue the projects allocated for the islands as per the state budget free from corruption.
