Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim has said that the required budget for the Maldives National University should be allocated for the university in the next year’s budget.
Gasim Ibrahim made this remark speaking at the meeting of the budget review committee of the Peoples’ Majlis with the Maldives National University. He said that the Maldives National University is on the most important institutions of Maldives working to build the future of the nation.
Gasim in this regard praised the University for their Efforts to spread knowledge and education throughout Maldives by opening various faculties throughout the islands.
Gasim said that he will do everything he can to allocate the additional 32 million ruffiya required by the university. He said that the members of the Jumhooree Party will work with him to achieve this goal.
The Jumhooree Party leader and Maamigili MP, Gasim urged all the members of the Majlis to work together to allocate the budget required for the university.
Gasim Ibrahim, who is also the founder of the most prestigious college in Maldives, Villa College, said that he will always work to create academic youth in the Maldives.
