Faisal calls to reduce the expenditure of the state
Kaashidhoo constituency MP, Faisal Naseem has called the state to reduce the state expenditure to reduce the state debt.

Kaashidhoo MP Faisal Naseem made this remark speaking at the Peoples’ Majlis. He said that the state budget submitted by the government for next year is a big budget and the debt is also bigger too.

Faisal said that the aim of the government should be to reduce the debt. “Therefore the government should focus to reduce the state expenditure,” he said.

Faisal said that management of the government offices cost a lot and therefore in this critical state it is best to avoid too much ornamentation of the offices.

“If we reduce the expenditure, we believe that we can save lots of money to serve our people,” he said.

In addition to this, MP Faisal underscored the importance of establishing good regulations for various subsidies granted by the state.

Faisal said that subsidies and allowances should be given to those in need not those who are already sufficient with their wealth.

“We see those with fat salaries getting more than others as Ramadan allowance. This is unfair and unjust. I hope that this will be rectified in the next Ramadan,” he said.
