A Futsal Carnival, organized by the Maldives High Commission in Malaysia, is underway in Malaysia, in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of Independence and to mark the Republic Day of the Maldives. ‘Futsal Carnival 2014’ is being held at Extreme Park Sports Centre Sunway, Malaysia.
A total of thirty nine teams participated in the futsal carnival. This gathering marks one of the largest gatherings of Maldivians in Malaysia this year.
The tournament was inaugurated by the High Commissioner of Maldives to Malaysia H.E Mohamed Fayaz. It is scheduled to be a full day event.
