Makunudhoo constituency MP Anaara Naeem has urged the government to spend from the state budget with foresight.
MP Anaara Naeem made this remark speaking at Wednesday's sitting of the Peoples’ Majlis. She underscored the importance of having foresight regarding what to be spent and what not.
She said that this is a budget of 24 Billion therefore it is very important to have a plan.
Anaara said that the Maldives can achieve progress by having such a foresight and a future plan.
“In this regard, I would like to note that there is hope for the developments to be brought by the government economically. If there is a plan then the people will be definitely benefited,” she said.
Anaara also noted the difficulties faced when the people settle in smaller islands. “Therefore the state has to establish a hospital or a harbor on every island. I do not believe that any government can do this,” he said.
Anaara said that it is important to inhabit bigger islands. She said that it is the responsibility of the government to establish a good system allowing the people to live there,” she said.
“Then the government can establish a state of the art modern hospital,” she said.
