Uza. Latheefa Qasim, the lawyer elected from among the licensed lawyers to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), has been sworn in as a member of the JSC.
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom presented the Letter of Appointment to Uza. Latheefa Qasim on Thursday, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
Prior to the presentation of the Letter of Appointment, she took the oath of office as a member of JSC before the Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
