(vnew): Sun Island Resort has donated trees to the Police Station in Alif Dhaal Mahibadhoo.
Human Resources (HR) Manager for the resort, Mr. Abubakr Qasim stated the donation was made by the Environment Club of the resort last Thursday. He stated that 130 plants were donated which belonged to 12 different species.
Additionally, Mr. Qasim noted that the delivery of the plants to Mahibadhoo were also made by the Environment Club of Sun Island Resort.
“Sun Island Resort is known for its love for the environment. We are always working towards protecting the environment. The Environment Club of our resort are constantly planting trees under their programs,” stated Mr. Qasim.
Sun Island Resort is one of the biggest resorts in the Maldives.
