Sun Island Environmental Club plants 340 eggplants
The environmental club of Sun Island Resort and Spa has planted 340 eggplants in the island.

Speaking to Miadhu Daily, the President of the environmental club and the human resource manager of the resort, Abu Bakr Gasim said that the eggplants were planted in the resort as part of the program of the club to make the island greener.

Abu Bakr Gasim said that some of the tourists in the resort also participated in yesterday’s eggplant planting event.

He said that there are many tourists who return to the island repeatedly. “Many think of the resort as their second home. They are also very fond of these activities,” he said.

“About 25 repeaters participated in yesterday’s activity,” he said.
