Leader of MDA, Ahmed Shiyaam Muhammad have said that, they will never give the chance to create bloodbath in Maldives in the name of democracy.
Speaking at a ceremony held last night to award tickets for MDA candidates who are running in the local council elections, Shiyaam said that we should take examples from Iraq, Syria and Libya.
Shiyam said that rivers of blood are seen from these countries and these countries reached to this state in the name of democracy. He said that Maldives does not need this style of democracy.
In addition, Shiyam said that Saudi Arabia works the most on eradicating terrorism from the world, but Maldivian opposition accuses Saudi Arabia as a hotbed for terrorism. He said that, the opposition make such accusations because they are anti-Islamic.
Shiyam requested the people of Maldives to vote for PPM-MDA coalition candidates in the upcoming council elections.
