Celebrations Golden Jubilee of India-Maldives Diplomatic Relations has been inaugurated.
Friendship Association of India-Maldives (FAIM) in association with the Government of Maldives and High Commission of India marked“India-Maldives Friendship Day” and inaugurated the ceremony to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of India-Maldives Diplomatic Relations. The official ceremony was held on 01-Nov-2014 at Traders Hotel.
The ceremony was officiated by the Indian High Commissioner in Maldives, Rajeev Sahare.
He said that this ceremony is a very important celebration and the activities of this celebration will continue till one year.
The Indian High Commissioner expressed hopes that the activities will benefit the people.
During the month of November 2014, FAIM plans to conduct the many activities in addition to the official celebration.
Tonight a cultural show was held at the Alimas carnival from 8PM onwards by visiting troupe from Goa, India, sponsored by Indian Cultural Centre, Government of India.
India-Maldives Friendship walk will be held at 4PM on 7th of this month starting from Artificial Beach in association with Government of Maldives, High Commission of India & India Club.
FREE Health Screening Camp by the visiting expert doctors from India specially on the field such as ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology and Pediatrics will be held on 19 November to 21 November. This is being organized in association with SRM Institutes for Medical Science from Chennai, India and Ministry of Health.
