Stalling budgeted projects is a big concern- Abdulla Riyaz

Jumhooree Party’s Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Group, Abdulla Riyaz has said that stalling projects budgeted for the year is a big concern.

He said that there are many projects that the people are waiting for and the people will be in total disappointment when these projects are stalled even after budgeting them. He said that the people are hoping to see these projects to be completed.

Abdulla Riyaz said that the people migrating to Male’ is still increasing every passing day because of the lack of services from their own islands.

“If everyone is forced to migrate to Male’ then how can there be any progress,” he said.

Abdulla Riyaz said that the state of the islanders should be much better than this given the state income.

“There are many projects that have not been still launched even though they have been budgeted and the end of this year is nigh,” he said.

He said that the Jumhooree Party appeals the government to launch these projects however much the budget is able to fund them.
