JP Parliamentary Group holds discussion on the most important bills

The parliamentary group of the Jumhooree Party has held discussions to prioritize the important bills to the people.

Speaking to Miadhu Daily, the secretary general of the Parliamentary Group, Hanimadhoo constituency MP Hussein Shahudhee said the discussion was to prioritize the bills based on their importance and benefit for the people and the development of the nation.

He said that discussions were held to understand the amendments that can be brought to these bills.

Shahudhee also said that the promises made to the people regarding the matters that will be solved from within the Majlis during the campaigns were also discussed.

“The members shared all of this with the Parliamentary Group members,” he said.

“Perhaps some might be already been submitted at the Majlis with the amendments,” he said.

The meeting of the Jumhooree Party held last night was chaired by Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim.
