Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. Mohamed Shainee has said that the government wants to make the bridge project as feasible as possible.
Minister of Fisheries Dr. Shainee made this remark at the press conference held at the President’s Office by the Economic Council, and the team who had arrived in Male' to conduct the survey.
He said that technology has o increased so much that now there are floating bridges and other similar bridge models.
He said that the government will decide on the matter after conducting a study on the issue.
According to reports bridge project will undergo five stages: preliminary feasibility study, project feasibility study, determination of the plan on design and exploration, agreement on financing of the project reached by the government of China and the Maldives in addition to the approval and implementation of the project.
