Stata Trading Organziation (STO) has opened a pharmacy in Kaafu Dhiffushi under the company’s project to open a pharmacy in every inhabited island.
In a special ceremony held at Dhiffushi, the pharmacy was opened by the Managing Director of STO Adam Azim and the Thulusdhoo constituency MP Ibrahim Waheed.
Managing Director of STO Adam Azim and Thulusdhoo constituency MP Ibrahim Waheed and other dignitaries who participated in the ceremony were given a warm welcome by the people of Dhiffushi.
MP Ibrahim Waheed noted that the opening of a pharmacy in Dhiffushi is a great service and help to the people.
He said that Adam Azim is an inspiring leader who is embarking many beneficial projects and has led STO to success while the company’s business was going unsuccessful when he joined as the managing director,
Dhiffushi island council vice president, Hussein Shafneez said that the people of Dhiffushi previously only heard of the health scheme Aasandha but were not given any opportunity to take benefit from the health scheme. He thanked President Abdulla Yameen and all those involved in this project for providing this great service to the people of Dhiffushi.
He said that previously some people used to hand over the prescription from the doctor to the island council however with the opening of this pharmacy then this will come to an end.
STO opens a pharmacy in Dhiffushi
