“A Mushaf for every Maldivian” program has been launched.
The program was launched last night at the Islamic Center. Under the program Mushafs of the Quran are published specially for Maldivians with the assistance of the Quran Care Society of Bahrain.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Dean of the Quran Center, Sheikh Abdul Azeez said that this program is an effort to serve the Book of Allah.
“We should all serve the Quran. Success is behind it. It is the Book of Allah. We should work to revive the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet. It is success. It is salvation. And it is them who will enter Paradise,” he said.
Sheikh Abdul Azeez said that all Mushafs imported to Maldives are published to various countries. He said that it will be an honour for all Maldivians to get mushafs published specially for them.
He extended his gratitude to the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed for taking this initiative. He said that the people of Maldives are proud of his endeavors.
“They are very happy that this project was handed over to the Quran Center,” he said.
Sheikh Abdul Azeez encouraged those who can to donate to assist in making this project successful. He said that every penny spent in the cause is equal to many good deeds.
