Ministry of Home Affairs has announced an award of MVR 75000 for providing information that can lead to the arrest of escaped prisoners Ibrahim Shahum of G. Cozy, Male’, and Abdulla Luthfee of H. Haajaraage, Male’.
Minister Umar Naseer made this statement during the press conference held at Home Ministry yesterday.
Minister Umar Naseer stated that one of the two escaped convicts, Shahum, who has still not been found is one of the two most wanted and dangerous convicts in Maldives at the moment.
He stated that the second most wanted man is Abdullah Luthfee of H. Haajaraage who was involved in the November 3rd 1988 terrorist attack.
