Minister of Finance Abdulla Jihad said that the government companies now work and move forward using mutual discussions. He said that the main reason for these discussions are to increase the benefit reaped by the company thereby increasing the benefit reaped by the state.
Jihad said that a meeting is held among the board of directors of these companies every month. He said that much good have been achieved through these discussions,
“Discussions are held regarding different projects of the companies. And it also increases the mutual relationship between the companies. It also helps alleviate the difficulties faced by the companies,” he said.
“Every three months the state companies issue finance reports. Every month the reports one expenditure and income generated should be submitted to the Finance Ministry,” he said.
Minister Jihad said that the government has to do everything possible to increase the income generated by the state given the increase in the expenditure of the state.
