Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adheeb has said that the works on the Hulhumale’-Male’ bridge project and the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport development project is ongoing.
Co-Chair of the Economic Committee of the President’s Office, Minister Adheeb made this remark during a press conference held by the Economic Council on Wednesday at the President's Office.
He said that the runway development project is ongoing with the aid of the Chinese government. And discussions are currently being held with the government of Japan for their assistance for the terminal development project.
Adheeb said that the discussions are held directly by MSL but all deals will be done between governments.
He said that the bridge project will also go smoothly as planned since the Chinese President recently promised that China will give their full cooperation for the project.
