Hulhumale’ Development corporation (HDC) has announced to build a shop, restaurant and public toilets in the Hulhumale’ Beach area for picnic goers.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, HDC Managing Director Suhail Ahmed said that HDC has decided to make two public toilet rows in the area near north beach of Hulhumale’.
Suhail said that HDC will announce to find a contractor for the project soon.
He said that in both sides a shop and a restaurant will be built along with the public toilet rows.
“The toilet will include a shower area and changing rooms,” he said.
Suhail said that the company opened bid for this project five years ago however only one company submitted for the bid so the project was cancelled.
He said that if there are no interested parties then HDC will take over the project.
