The government has stated that opposition are making false accusations against the Tourism Minister Ahmed Adheeb to deceive the public and divert their attention away from the services provided by the government.
Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali told Miadhu Daily that many of the opposition are making false accusations against the Tourism Minister. He said the opposition wants to put a smokescreen against the good that the government is doing for the betterment of the people and the country.
Muaz condemned the oppositions baseless accusations against honest and sincere ministers of the government who are working tirelessly for the development of the nation.
Muaz also refuted the claims made by MDP Chairperson Ali Waheed that MDP will topple the government within the early stages. He said that MDP can never topple the government within the five years of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s presidency.
