Expatriate worker dies after falling from 10 storey building

An expatriate has fallen off the tenth floor of a building in Machangoalhu Ward whilst working on site and died.

Speaking to Vnews, a Police media official stated the person to be of Indian nationality.
The incident is noted to have occurred at 7:15 p.m.

A doctor of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) stated that the person had already died by the time he was taken to the hospital.

It is known that the person fell from the tenth floor of the Suntara Tower building on Chaandhanee Magu, on to Ma. Esfange next door.

According to knowledge gained, the person fell with such force that he had broken through the roof of the house.

Officials stated that while any information on person is unclear at the moment, they are currently investigating the case. (vnews)
