Many wore new clothes and went to Eid prayer with their family. The Eid prayer was held in the mosques and open areas.
The Chief Imam of the Islamic Center Imam Sheikh Mohamed Latheef led the Eid prayer at the Male’ stadium area.
Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel, cabinet ministers and many notables participated in the Eid Prayer.
The Imam called the people to enjoy Eid within the confines of the Sharia and not fall into vices holding unislamic activities.
