Maldives will now begin offering on arrival 90-days visas to Malaysians travelling to the country. The move is applicable from June 1st.
This was agreed on during President Abdullah Yameen and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim’s recent visit to Malaysia. During this trip, discussions were held on granting on arrival 90-day visas to Maldivians traveling to Malaysia on various purposes. The discussions were undertaken on President’s own initiative.
Maldivian government had thanked the Malaysian authorities for the initiatives undertaken by Malaysia to make lives easier for Maldivians living and going to Malaysia for various purposes.
