Visiting Indian military delegation has met Chief of Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam.
MNDF reported that discussions centered around possible assistance, training and education for MNDF.
India Air Marshall Amit Tiwari heads the delegation, in addition to service personnel in various fields in army training and education sectors.
India appointed Defense Advisor to the Maldives Prashanth Handu, Directorate of Operations and Training Principle Director Hamid Shafeeq and members of the visiting delegation attended the meeting.
MNDF said the visiting delegations will hold separate discussions with MNDF heads of departments. The delegation will depart next Thursday.
