Islamic Ministry has announced that this year’s Fitr Eid prayers will be held in Islamic Center grounds.
Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad Baqir said the annual distribution of eid gifts will be held following the prayers and that the Ministry was ready for that.
The Islamic Center grounds, recently revamped, can now house around 20000 people in congregation.
Eid prayers will be held in 18 mosques in Male’, Vilimale’ Masjid Ah-Salam and three mosques in Hulhumale’.
