MTCC CEO Haleem, MRDC Nazeem dismissed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) CEO Abdu Razzaq Haleem and Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) MD Ibrahim Nazeem has been dismissed from their positions.

Haleem was appointed to his position on June 2014. In addition to Haleem, MTCC Board Member and Government coalition partner MDA member Shinan Ali had been removed from his position as well.

At the time of dismissal, MRDC MD Naeem had been accused of corruption and a case had been forwarded to PG by ACC.

Their dismissal was announced by a tweet posted by Mohamed Nizar, President of the Privatization and Corporation Board. The tweet said the dismissal was effective from today.
