PSG Academy Coaching Camp hosted by Ooredoo.
Paris Saint-Germain and Ooredoo have concluded the second season of the PSG Academy Coaching Clinic in the Maldives, with over 200 aspiring young footballers receiving training and development opportunities from PSG top coaches, Benjamin Houri and Matthieu Jean-Baptiste. The closing ceremony held this evening was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Ahmed Zuhoor.

PSG Academy Coaching Clinics offers education and motivation for aspiring young football players, and helps them in a range of key areas, including match preparation and effective training methods. Young footballers learn a host of key skills in each session, such as tactical and defensive playing, stamina training and the rules of football.Each of the training sessions closed with the traditional ceremony that sees every participant receive an official certificate from the Paris Saint-Germain Academy and have the chance to take photos with their coaches.
Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain began their partnership in the year 2013, with a major aspect of the partnership focusing on the development of youth and community support.As such, the coaching clinics are designed to create life opportunities for young people. Ooredoo brings qualified coaches and Paris Saint-Germain training programmes to its markets, with a focus to reach out to and support youth in these communities.
This season, Paris Saint-Germain Academy and Ooredoo’s Season 2015-16 World Tour included PSG Academy Coaching Clinics across held in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Tunisia and Indonesiaand the Maldives, reaching out to over a thousand aspiring young footballers.
