Three scheduled hearings against former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb were cancelled today.
Criminal Court had scheduled the hearings of the terrorism charges filed against Adeeb and two of his bodyguards, weapons possession charges and abuse of power charges filed against Adeeb.
The hearings of the terror charges were scheduled for 10am today. The hearing was cancelled after Adeeb was summoned to Court.
However, the hearing was cancelled after Judge Saeed Ibrahim had called in sick.
As Judge Saeed Ibrahim was the presiding Judge on the abuse of power case, that hearing was also cancelled. Though the weapons charges were reviewed by another Judge, the hearing was cancelled. Criminal Court had not issued a reason on this cancellation.
