Maldives Police Service has stated that they want to get the best results in the case of the missing journalist, Ahmed Ridwan Abdulla who was reported missing since August 8.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily Police Media official stated that the Police also want the case to end good as hoped by Ridwan’s family.
He said that the Police works to ensure public safety and prosperity of the people.
Meanwhile, three individuals have been taken into Police custody regarding the case of the missing journalist, Ahmed Rizwan Abdulla of M. Shining Star, K. Male’.
The individuals were taken in under court order and are two 22 year olds and a 24 year old, all males.
They are being remanded into Police custody under court order for investigative pursposes.
The two 22 year olds, for a period of 5 days and the 24 year old for a period of 7 days.
The Serious and Organized Crime of the Maldives Police Service is investigating the matter further.
