Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizz has stated that those individuals wishing to be political refugees can do so and leave the running of the nation to others.
Speaking in the opening of the leisure zone of Hulhumale’ Central Park, Dr. Muizz said the capital of Male’ was congested and with no open spaces. However, with the visionary leadership of the President, he said there were more open public places in Male’, with most of them developed as parks.
Dr. Muizz said that the second phase development of Hulhumale’ was proceeding ahead at a rapid pace, including flat and housing construction. He added that major development work was proceeding in all parts of the country.
Dr. Muizz added that those who could not cope with this level of development were welcome to leave the country, noting that the country had to chart on development rather than debate on this.
