MACL Managing Director Adil Moosa has stated that he was sure that the company can recover the investments made by the Government for the development of the INIA in a short period of time.
Speaking in the signing ceremony of the construction of the terminal at INIA, Adil Moosa said the days of believing that Maldivians cannot manage the development of an airport was over. He said that we will see the development of an airport under close scrutiny, authority and oversight by the nation.
Adil assured that no services of the airport will be halted or disrupted due to the expansion. He added that once completed, the airport will become an industry benchmark in the region and the earnings from the airport will increase by many times over once completed.
He also thanked the President for assigning MACL to conduct the project, which had been hailed as one of the largest development projects in the country.
