Defense Minister Adam Shareef said that the local council elections of next year must be claimed by PPM in order to secure an easy win for the President in 2018.
He made the statement speaking in the closing ceremony of the “Fahi 913” held in Dharubaaruge.
Minister Adam Shareef said the Party needed to work as a united team to win the local council elections.
He said that it was vital that President Yameen was elected to a second term in 2018, in order to carry out the long term projects engineered during this short period. He added that many had not believed that projects such as the bridge project, Laamu Link, and the housing projects could be carried out in this short period of time.
Minister Adam Shareef assured that the President Yameen was closely monitoring the condition of the citizens affected by the rains.
