Coast Guard has appealed not to conduct any sea travels unless absolutely necessary, given the current bad weather. The Coast Guard had also urged travelers to exercise safety precautions when travelling.
Coast Guard said that there had been a rise in travel related sea accident and to exercise caution when travelling. The Coast Guard especially cautioned against overloading vessels and to equip all vessels with safety and security measures.
Coast Guard had also urged to cease all water based sports. Additionally, they had urged vessel owners to properly maintain docked vessels.
