Massive crowds gathered today to take part in the sports festival “Fahi 913” held to mark two and half years to President Abdullah Yameen’s presidential term.
In spite of the intermittent rains, many adults and children had gathered at the Maafannu stadium to participate in the festival. Both the President and First Lady were at the stadium this evening and observed the sports activities held in the stadium. The President and First Lady had spent time with the children who took part in the festival.
Many political figures and citizens took part in the various activities carried out this evening.
The evening round of sports and the music show was held this evening.
