He noted that maintaining that integrity was one of the most important roles that will be played by Judges and judicial service employees, adding that as part of this Judges and Courts must be cleared of any doubts over the impartiality of the system. Chief Justice added that all Judges and verdicts must be devoid of personal beliefs, guaranteeing to the public that the judicial justice system was above such issues.
He said compassion and generosity, within the judicial means and based on the case, were also qualities Judges have to cultivate in themselves.
“Transparency in the judicial process is one important thing. Open trials in legally formed courts are carried out to ensure this aspect. Judges and employees have to be trained on contemporary case management techniques. This can be achieved only by collaboration between state agencies. human resource development and technical capabilities will also have to be developed,” he said.
Chief Justice had appealed participants to make the best use of the Symposium and to remain steadfast in upholding the law, to create a society that was strong in its judicial justice and Islamic values.
