The Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka and the Maldives , Mr Jean-Marin Schuh has assured that France will provide assistance for more projects in the Maldives.
Addressing at the Ceremony held in Laamu Gan Island to Officially Inaugurate the Sewerage System built with French assistance in the Island today, Mr Jean-Marin Schuh said after the Tsunami 2004, French government has provided assistance to the Maldivian Government for re construction projects in many islands which has costed about 19 million Euros.
Mr Jean-Marin Schuh said under the assistance harbours , in Manadhoo and Ungoofaaru and sewerage projects in Thinadhoo and Gan have been built and opened.
Mr Jean-Marin Schuh has specially thanked Maldivian Government for Officially signing the COP 21 Paris Agreement for climate Change.
