Imam of the Friday prayer has called all to hold Eid activities within the confines of Islam and not to go beyond that by doing what is unlawful in Islam.
The Imam made this remark at the Friday sermon held at Masjid Muhammad Thakurufaanu alA’dham.
He said that everything should be done within the boundaries set by Islam and no one should exceed that.
He also said that it is very important to protect the rights of others when holding such sports activities.
The Imam also urged the people to guard their faith by praying five times a day without any delaying. He said that if the people spend all their time in sports activities without praying then there is no benefit.
He said that there is nothing wrong in celebrating eid with different activities if there is nothing that contradicts Islam.
The Imam said that the people should celebrate the day with worship and seeking repentance from Allah.
