President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has stated that foreign policy discussions with the English had been concluded 50 years back.
He made the statement speaking in the inauguration ceremony of the port in Bandidhoo Island.
President Yameen said that discussions with the English had concluded 50 years back and that the nation had fully celebrated that. He said in spite of this some had intended to restore this aspect.
He said that organizations such as CMAG were biased in their mandate, noting that they had failed to take into account when the previous governments had committed various crimes.
