IGMH and India’s NU Hospital has signed an MOU to create the National Urinoinial and Fertility Center.
Speaking in the ceremony, IGMH CEO Brigadier General (Rtd) Farhath Shaheer said IGMH will create the center, while NU Hospitals will provide resources and doctors to manage the center.
He said even though foreign assistance had been sought for the project, the aim was to create skilled locals to manage the center.
The center will address issues of the urinary system and infertility issues. IGMH CEO said they expected the center to be in operation this year.
The government had begun many initiatives to grant easy access to public for health services. The National Cardiac Centre is expected to be opened in the near future.
